Integrative Nutrition Health Coach
Cyndi Stewart, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, made the decision to put herself first and take her power back with her health. After being a student of change and transformation for over ten years, including working on a PHD in Change Management; she decided to end the battle of constant dieting by addressing the root causes. The approach she took was getting educated on overall nutrition and learning which foods work best for those with autoimmune, leaky gut, inflammation and blood sugar imbalances. “Most importantly I focused on three things;” she says. “I paid attention to how I felt after I ate, designed a food plan that made sense for my lifestyle and my health, and lastly, I got to know my kitchen again and how to make nutritious foods taste great.”
Cyndi turned to nutrition, food selection, and lifestyle changes as the foundation to ending her battle with dieting, food cravings, mindless eating and leaky gut. Through her personal wellness journey she designed an approach that includes simple tools and techniques to guide others to create a happy, healthy life and end weight loss resistance. She received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), which is associated with SUNY Purchase and studied Ayurvedic therapies at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing. She currently follows the Paleo Autoimmune diet due to her autoimmune disease, Hashimoto’s, while incorporating a strong plant based and raw food diet into her life. She also obtained certifications in Life Coaching, Myers Briggs personality assessment (MBTI) and DISC assessment. She has over 15 years experience with change management, career development and training & development and coaches individuals in the areas of nutrition, lifestyle changes and career choices.
